Dublin, CA - Construction is underway of West Dublin, a 309 unit multi-family project in Dublin, CA. The project is being built by SCM Construction Management Services of Modesto, Calif., for Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS) of Palo Alto, Calif.

West Dublin is situated on a 3.7 acre site adjacent to the West Dublin Bay Area Rapid Transit ("BART") Station. Designed by Oakland architects MVE & Partners, Inc., the five story complex will feature luxury apartment homes over parking.

"This is the largest footprint of any Essex project. It encompasses an entire city block," stated John Eudy, Senior Vice President of Development for Essex Property Trust.

West Dublin is scheduled for completion in summer 2013.

Awards of Merit were chosen this year from over 400 entries. Grand Award trophies will emerge from Awards of Merit winners at the 2011 Gold Nugget Awards luncheon on June 23rd at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

SCM Construction Management has begun major renovations of the Bridgewater Condominiums at 6400 Christie Ave. in Emeryville, California. The improvements include podium repair and waterproofing, landscape replacement, and exterior remodeling. The $7 million project is scheduled for completion in June 2011.

Berkeley, CA -- A groundbreaking ceremony on October 28, 2008, marked the start of construction of Fourth Street, a mixed-use, multi-family project in the historic University area of Berkeley. The $69.4 million project is being built by SCM Construction Management Services of Modesto, Calif., for Essex Property Trust of Palo Alto, Calif.

The project is situated on a two-acre site at Fourth Street and University Avenue. Designed by San Francisco architects Cristiani Johnson, the 171-unit complex will encompass retail shops and a podium parking structure. Fourth Street is scheduled for completion in early 2010.
